HIGHLIGHTS

Picture

ADAPTED PLANTING

Although seemingly lush, plantings were chosen that can survive the harsh back and forth of Colorado's climate, and can reduce overall water use in the landscape.
Picture

NATIVE ECHOES

Small vignettes of native planting scenes are scattered throughout the yard to create moments of visual interest - dry creek beds, cactus gardens, and focal plantings.
Picture

COLOR + TEXTURE

To make the landscape more interesting, colors and textures were invited in to play with each other, in leaf foliage, ground cover scale, ornamental boulders, and more.
Picture

RHYTHMIC SCREENING PLANTING

What was once a tangle of overgrown junipers, crabapples and weeds was transformed into a textured, colorful planted berm that creates privacy without being a blockade.
Picture

RAISED VEGGIE PLANTERS

Substantial planters for vegetable gardens allow the plants to grow deep roots while allowing for garden maintenance with little effort for the knees and back.
