HIGHLIGHTS

Picture

GREEN SPACE

As the outdoor space was limited to a small side yard, green expanses create a lush feeling of openness.
Picture

COLOR + TEXTURE

Evergreen and deciduous, broad-leafed and fine, a variety of colors, textures and seasons creates interest in a small area.
Picture

FORMAL PATHS

For ease of use year-round, natural stone is used to create hardscape paths and patios that allow for easy entertaining.
Picture

FORMAL FIRE PIT

A custom fire pit is cladded with limestone to match the features of the house. The gas insert allows for the warmth and visual of a fire without the hassle and smoke, and a large built-in bench to match provides a backdrop while allowing for a variety of seating.
Picture

SECONDARY GATHERING

A patio at the back of the house creates a destination for less formal gatherings. The sound of the stone crunching underfoot signals that the guests have arrived at a different space, while greenery races up the 'walls' to create privacy and shade.
